Art Between Matter and Meaning
My artistic practice explores the relationship between the visible world and the invisible structures that shape human experience. Working with ink, movement, natural materials and reclaimed objects, I seek to transform familiar forms into new visual languages. A line can become a landscape, a fragment of wood can become a symbol, and an ordinary object can reveal an unexpected philosophical dimension. My work is driven by the dialogue between nature and humanity, fragility and resilience, memory and transformation. I am interested in the moment when material transcends its original purpose and becomes something else: an emotion, a question, a memory or an idea. Whether through the spontaneous movement of ink or the physical construction of a sculpture, my intention is not simply to reproduce what I see, but to discover what exists beyond its appearance. My artistic language moves between abstraction and representation, instinct and intention, matter and spirit.
Ink / Movement / Space is an exploration of the expressive possibilities of drawing. Through ink, line, gesture and mixed media, the artist transforms observations of nature and everyday forms into visual reflections on existence. The works move between representation and abstraction, allowing the image to emerge through spontaneous marks, contrasts, textures and the interaction between presence and absence. Here, the white of the paper is as important as the ink itself. Movement becomes a trace of time, while space creates room for interpretation. The ink leaves the trace. Movement gives it life. Space allows it to breathe.
My sculptures are constructed through a dialogue with materials that already possess a history. Wood, bark, branches, stones, fibres, clay and reclaimed objects are brought together to create forms that move beyond their original identities. Each sculpture begins with an encounter between material and imagination. Through assembly, intervention and transformation, ordinary elements become symbolic structures exploring the human condition, nature, justice, freedom and spirituality. The resulting works exist somewhere between natural sculpture, conceptual assemblage and visual storytelling. Matter preserves memory. The artist gives it another language.
